Marc Ambinder is now reporting that a partial recount of some 1500 ballots has taken place at the Iowa Straw Poll. The Fix and The Swamp are also watching the story.
Widespread reports/speculation are coming out of candidates and teams looking at “legal action”.

News from the Iowa Straw Poll says that apparently a vote counting problem (yeap they used electronic voting machines) has delayed official results from the campaign.
News is up at Marc Ambinder’s blog as well as The Swamp.

I figured out I need to completely redo the 2008 section of the site because I made a couple errors. I originally set out to have things split up into House, Senate, Primary & General Election Categories. Then I flubbed and put all the primary information into the general election category. WOOPS, not so good. Anyway that will take a couple days to get fixed and have everything working.
In the meantime tomorrow is the Ames, Iowa Straw poll. Want to know what that is, why its important, what to expect, get the latest news & info and follow along? Why you can do all of that at the ElectionGeek Ames Iowa Straw Poll Page.
