But What do the Psychics Think?

January 17th, 2007

Remembering that there was a time on the Howard Stern Show when compulsive gambler Artie Lange was defeated in a football pool by a chicken (this year by three wackpackers) I do want to remind you that the last psychic prediction I remember for a Presidential election found Montell’s favorite seer Sylvia Brown calling the race for Senator Bill Bradley in the year 2000. We all know now how spot on that prediction was!

Still if mystic bullshit artists are going to goto the trouble of making predictions I figure why not give them to you! It is a Wednesday, what else are we going to do?

Psychic Jeffry R. Palmer in a press release says the following:

I feel that there is a very strong likelihood of Rudolph Giuliani running for and subsequently winning the US presidential election in 2008. Giuliani will begin campaigning in early 2007. Senator John McCain may be chosen as Vice President.

Meanwhile just for your entertainment AND to help dispel any myth that psychics are real, check out the following clips.

John McCain vs. James Dobson

January 16th, 2007

It seems like members on both sides of the isle are beginning to line up under their candidates or at the very least are lining up against the candidates they know they won’t vote for. Prime example? Conservative Christian leader James Dobson recently said he would not vote for Senator John McCain under any circumstances. His reason? He told KCBI radio it was because McCain does not support traditional marriage values and said he has prayed “we won’t get stuck with him.”

The McCain response? That he would like to continue to “mend fences” with Dobson and others.

To editorialize I want to note what a good job Mitt Romney did at taking most of the steam out of McCain’s run back in November. The continued revelations of Romney’s not so conservative past have swung the pendulum back, however, his early attacks against the Senator have definitely helped give rise to many conservatives angst relating to McCain.

FOX Affiliate Shows Video Of Obama Rally During Sex-Offender Story

January 15th, 2007

Is it just me or is there a pretty high number of odd incidents involving Senator Barack Obama and the wrong story or headline being associated with him in a pretty negative way? So far we’ve had a couple incidents of him being framed with Osama bin Laden (and Saddam Hussein), oh and CNN’s Jeff Greenfield compared his style of dress to the Iranian president and now this.
