Mike Huckabee who is running for the Republican nomination disagrees with the decision to fire Don Imus. He said the following:

“If Imus is going to get fired, then there’s a number of other people who need to go out the door,” said Huckabee, a frequent guest of the Imus show. “Rosie’s probably got to go. Bill Maher has to go. Gosh, half of television and talk radio has to go.”

In my opinion? One nice thing to see is that the statement doesn’t appear to have been a pre-written staffed researched one as Bill Maher is no longer on the airwaves but instead on HBO.
